The Blog

As a preferred supplier to the University, we recently produced this piece to showcase the professional standard new facilities in the Music Technology department:

The film was presented by two of the students as we follow the process of recording and building a music track. It featured a group current undergraduates, and used a sound track produced and recorded in the new facilities  themselves.

We filmed with two cameras, a stabilised gimbal, a slider, slow motion shots to demonstrate the equipment, and split screens in post production. So it got the full treatment.

These two videos provide hip and knee replacement patients with the information and techniques for post operative physiotherapy exercises. Helpful for patients, negating the need for staff to explain in detail every time, and ensuring the right information is always provided and available.

The pieces were filed at the hospital against a white colourama, so staff and equipment did not need to be moved.

We were commissioned to produce 3 videos to generate nominations for this year’s KUDOS Awards by Kent Sport, using last year’s 3 finalists.

Each lasts approximately 30 seconds, and is optimised for Facebook and Twitter, with burnt in subtitles to engage the viewer when appearing mute on their feed.

The Benenden Hospital in Cranbrook, Kent underwent major redevelopment in 2017 / 2018. This video is a guided tour to show members of the trust their new facilities, for which they have invested.

The film features use of the drone and Ronin stabilised gimbal, and was shot and edited in a brief timeframe.

It was edited with a fairly long duration in respect of the audience: current members who needed to digest the new facilities, rather than selling these to prospective new members.
